President
Meranda Tylluan
Meranda is a down to earth "wild child" with a passion for feeding people healthy, hearty, top-quality food. Born in the desert and raised in the PNW, Meranda masterfully blends the complex flavors of south-western cuisine with the vibrant natural offerings of our own local region. From her early days as a Grain Shed sourdough baker in 2019, Meranda fell in love with the artistry found at the intersection between the bakers' subtle craft and the epicurian world's more savory sides. Meranda currently strives to "make magic" for folks just like you at the Crazy Train Eatery: TGS's sister resturant, located in the burgeoning Hillyard Art District. As a conductor of controlled chaos and a wearer of many hats, Meranda is independently raising two kids and rearing two pups on top of her roles as business owner, manager, and co-op board president. When not in the kitchen, Meranda can be found skating, mushroom hunting, horseback riding, hiking, and more, keeping herself grounded as she strives to enrich the world around her. Be sure to say hello to her when you visit our food-focused Northside location!
